World Combat Arts
World Combat Arts defines martial arts into three categories.

• Reality Arts
i.e. Streetwise JKD, Self protection,  Military, law enforcement, Security, Krav Maga, Systema, Kapap, et al.

• Sport/Performance Arts
i.e. Boxing, Judo, Taekwondo, Muay Thai, Wu Shu, et al.

• Traditional Arts
i.e. Karate, Kung Fu, Silat, et al

There maybe some cross-over of categories, i.e. Muay Thai being a traditional sport art, but very effective for street application (adapted)

The main emphasis of training is the reality category. Functional Jeet-Kune-Do is the training method.

• Functional Jeet-Kune-Do
Functional, every training scenario, drill, technique must have a function. I.e. purpose, in that it can be adapted/utilised in a reality context.

• Jeet-Kune-Do
The original art of Bruce Lee. More a philosophical approach to training. I.e. open minded, if it works, we work it.
