1. What originally started you training in martial arts?

It was at a time of my life were I was at my lowest and I needed some guidance and discipline, I needed to be stronger for myself and my children. Thats when I decided to give Mic a call and join World Combat Arts.

2. What do you take from your training now?

Everything! I try to bring it into my everyday life the best I can.

3. Who's your biggest hero and why?

My young friend Isis Shaw, who died at the age of 12 years old of Cystic Fibrosis. She taught me some of the most valuable lessons about life and still does.

4. What's your favourite technique and why?


I love most of the training techniques but if I had to pick one it would be the 'coiled spring'. I feel if I was in any confrontation that this technique would work for me. And its great to train to.

5. What inspires you?

My children, in order to give them the best i need to be the best I can be.

6. What's your best moment in life so far?

Giving birth to my daughter Trinity.

7. What's your favourite film?


It has to be the Matrix, the ultimate love story (and there's some good fighting to!)

8. What's the last book you bought?

The Art of Happiness by the Dali Lama

9. What's your favourite quote?

"Yesterday is the past, tomorrow is the future, today is a gift, that's why they call it the present"

10. If you could do one thing what would it be?

Personally (and this is a little controversial) I would castrate all the pedophiles of this world, to stop the suffering of innocent young children.
